Declination to Postmaster Grade I may be accepted before appointment to the post - Directorate clarification


 Copy of Directorate letter no 4-24/2011.SPB II dated 09-08-2011 addressed to CPMG Tamilnadu circle is reproduced below.
 Subject : Declining promotion to the Postmaster Grade I by the officials declared successful in Postmaster Grade I examination held on 12.06.2011 
Madam,
I am directed to refer to Circle Office's letter no STA/5-21/Gr.l Postmaster/Ruling/2O10, dated  25.07.2011 on the above subject and to say  that declination of appointment by the candidate to the post of Postmaster Grade -1 after passing the Departmental Examination, but before his appointment, may be  accepted.

order was not clear and clarification dated 26 sep 2011 was totally confusing.... Many PA who want to deny from PM Gr.I are facing problem due to ambiguity of orders by DG POST.7 CAT Cases has been filed for declination from Postmaster Gr. I.If this type of matter are rising in AP Circle matter should be take up with directorate by Union.Many cases of this type raised in Rajasthan/utrakhand circle...
