The Unions have come up with an item for discussion in the RJCM meeting; stating that Tatkal Reservation charges are not being allowed while settling TA claim of officials.

In this connection, i am directed to inform you that Tatkal Seva Charges are reimbursable as per the provisions of GI MF OM No.19023/ A/99-E IV dated 16th August 1999, available as item 6(g) under SR 34 in Swamy’s Compilation of FRSR Part II Travelling Allowances of 2009 Edition; subject to the conditions envisaged therein.

          Therefore, I am directed to request you to keep in view the provisions of the above  OM while settling TA claims involving Tatkal Charges, preferred by the officials, in your jurisdiction.
