Introduction of the depositor at the time of opening of savings account-clarification

It was clarified vide SB Order No 9/2012 dated 10.7.2012 that introduction of the depositor at the time of opening of   a PO SB account by a person is not mandatory. A depositor can be introduced through any one of the documents mentioned in SB Order No 30/2002 dated 21.11.2002 and 27.11.2002 or through KYC documents.
