Service Unions are going ahead with two days general Strike

NFPE & FNPO (Central  JCA) have decided to go ahead with the  two days Nation wide Strike on 12^th & 13^th Feb 2014  as scheduled.  The Department during the talks held on 07.02.2013 has not shown any keen interest to consider the postal demands. No further talks took place.  The main demands of the strike call are :

1. DA merger

2. Interim Relief

3. Inclusion of GDS under 7th CPC

4. Casual labour wage revision and regularisation

5. Resend PFRDA ACT

6. Date of effect of 7^th CPC – 01.01.2014  as demanded by JCM Staff side
