Holding of this year Examination (LDCE) for promotion to PS Group B in doldrums

It was learnt that the Department is seriously thinking of changing the syllabus and pattern for conducting the examination for promotion to the cadre of PS Group B. Further, the preparation and finalization of revised Recruitment Rules of PS Gr. B cadre will take some more time. The PS group B examination for the year 2013 was not held. As per the calender of Examinations of India post for the year 2014, this examination is slated for 15.06.2014. But the present state of things indicates that it may not be held during the year 2014 also.
